Google's Url Policy Changes.

As of April the first, Google will be strictly enforcing the new display url policy.

Before where you could get away with using a close matching url as your display url you will not be able to do this since Google wants to maintain its level of quality for the end user's experience.

As explained on the Adwords blog, any display url must match the destination url with no exceptions.

This means that if your destination url is conqueradwords.blogspot.com, it will not be acceptable to put Conqueradwords.com, as your display url because that is another site.

If you use a tracking url or affiliate link, don't worry, the destination url of the landing page is what you will use as the display url and not the tracking link or affiliate link.

This new policy takes effect on April 1st and the Adwords team advises that changes should be made if you will be affected, ahead of time to ensure that your ads keep running without any disruption.
